Adventure is our business — and our way of life. Based in Lakes Entrance, Venture Out offers bike, kayak and SUP hire, guided experiences, and locally curated adventure packages designed to help you explore the best of East Gippsland.
Whether you’re pedalling forest singletrack, gliding across the Gippsland Lakes, or mixing a bike ride with a long lunch and a hot springs soak, we make it easy to turn a simple day out into a memorable adventure.

OUR STORY
Venture Out was founded by Sarah Carlisle, a lifelong adventurer whose love for the outdoors began on family camping trips and long days being told to “go play outside.”
After working in community development as an Australian Youth Ambassador in the Philippines, Sarah returned home with a clear vision: a business that blends adventure, social impact and community connection.
Venture Out grew from that intention — a place where people can experience the outdoors with confidence, curiosity and a sense of fun.
With qualifications in Mountain Bike Instructing, Flat Water Guiding and SUP Instructing, Sarah brings deep local knowledge, strong safety foundations, and a passion for sharing East Gippsland’s natural playground. Whether you join her for a guided SUP session or a trail ride, you’re in good hands.
